Manager Mobile App

Managers in PayHero have the ability to manage time, expenses, and leave for their team members.

These can be managed alongside your own details via our mobile app, which also allows you to record your own time, submit your expenses, request leave, track your leave balances, and view payslips in one convenient place.

Logging In & Out

You can log in using your employee/manager login details. If you don't have a login yet, you'll need to contact your payroll manager so they can create one for you first.

Once you have access, you can log in anytime at mobile.payhero.co.nz. Alternatively, if you'd like to log in on a bigger device, check out our Manager Portal.

Once you've logged in, the side menu is separated into two sections.

The top section (under your name) allows you to manage your own time, expenses, leave, and payslips. You can learn more about these tabs here: Employee Mobile App

The next section allows you to record & edit time entries for your team members as well as submit, approve or decline any leave/expense requests for any employees you manage.

Team Time

The team Time section shows an overview of your team members' time within the currently selected week. Switch between weeks using the arrows at the top.

If your company has Timesheet Approval enabled, Team Managers will also be able to approve time for their team members. You can find more information on this here: Timesheet Approval

Time Clocks

The Time Clocks tab allows you to view and manage any running time clocks for your team members.

Team Expenses

The team Expenses tab shows an overview of any expense requests submitted for your team members.

Team Leave

The team Leave tab provides options for viewing and managing your team members' leave requests.

Adding PayHero Apps to Your Homescreen

Adding the PayHero Mobile App directly to your device's homescreen makes it a quick and easy shortcut for recording time, requesting leave or viewing previous payslips.

iPhone

  1. Open up the Safari web browser and navigate to mobile.payhero.co.nz.

  2. Make sure you log into your PayHero account

  3. Select the 'Share' icon in the middle of the navigation bar at the bottom of Safari.

  4. Scroll down the list and tap on the 'Add to Home Screen' option.

  5. Select 'Add' in the top right to add the shortcut to the phone's home screen.

Please note, Apple requires this to be done through the Safari browser.

Android

  1. Open up the Chrome web browser and navigate to mobile.payhero.co.nz.

  2. Make sure you log into your PayHero account

  3. Select the three dot menu button in the top right.

  4. Tap on the 'Add to Home Screen' option from the menu.

  5. Tap on 'Add' when prompted to add the shortcut to the phones home screen.
