Improvements

Employee Payment Times - Introduced an additional payment run for employees (and other recipients) paid by Direct Debit, POLi or Bank Transfer. Depending on the time you send your pay, employees may now be paid in the afternoon rather than the evening, as detailed in the corresponding articles (patched 07/05/2024)

Direct Debit Payment Dates - Introduced additional warnings and visual prompts for confirmation of the Direct Debit payment date for pays subject to a 2-day delay.

General Improvements - Some general tweaks and speed improvements under the hood.

Fixes

Akahu Retry Failed Payments - Fixed an issue preventing the 'Retry Failed Payments' button from working for pays sent via Akahu.

Special Characters & Payments - Fixed the handling of diacritics (special characters) for Direct Debit or Bank Transfer payments, to ensure the bank can handle these.

Payment Amount Display - Corrected a display issue resulting in the Direct Debit or Bank Transfer payment amount appearing to include payments not made by direct debit/bank transfer (e.g. employees without a bank account set or paid via other payment methods).
