If you're currently using MYOB's original desktop payroll program, 'MYOB Payroll', the PayHero Support Team can work with you to export, check over, and import your MYOB Payroll information into a PayHero company, ready for you to get started.

Once you've opted into our onboarding service, we'll simply require a copy of your latest MYOB Payroll backup file. We recommend first saving a fresh backup to ensure that all the latest pay history and most up-to-date leave balances are included in the file. The steps for making a new backup are covered on the MYOB support website here: Creating a backup.
Please note that if your MYOB Payroll file is password protected, we'll also need to know the password. To avoid sharing sensitive passwords, we recommend changing the password on your file to something you don't mind sharing before you take the backup. You can change the password back after you've saved the backup file.
Once you have the latest backup ready to go, simply send it through as an email attachment to support@payhero.co.nz.
We'll use that data to help pre-populate the PayHero Employee Import and Pay History Import spreadsheets from your MYOB Payroll data and send it through for you to review. Once you're happy the information is correct and complete, we can import it into your PayHero account, ready for your first pay.
This service takes 1-2 business days.
What if I'm using a different version of MYOB?
For other MYOB software, you can still opt into our onboarding service, you'll just need to load your employee data into our employee import and pay history import spreadsheets You can find templates of these import spreadsheets as well as information about the expected formatting here:
