Leave in Week Summary - Introducing our most popular feature request! Leave Requests will now be displayed in the Week Summary tab, so that you can see at a glance what time and leave your employees have for the week as a whole. To accommodate this change, total hours now display in the bottom right corner of each day, so that leave can be displayed in the top left corner.
Breaks in Week Summary - As part of the above change, the total unpaid break duration for time entries will also display on the Week Summary tab, above the net duration of the time entry.
Part-Day Leave Requests - It's now possible to add and decline multiple part-day leave requests on the same day. This allows an employee, manager, or administrator to submit half a day of Sick Leave and half a day of Unpaid Leave, for example.
Sign In With Xero - You can now connect your user access to your Xero login, to sign into PayHero with your Xero login details. To enable this, navigate to your profile and select Connect to Xero. Learn where to find your profile here: How can I update my login details?
New Look Sign In Page - Our sign in page has had a facelift!
Improvements
API Access - Companies on the Universe plan now have access to their PayHero API key via the Integrations tab, rather than needing to contact us. You can learn more about our API here.
PDF Expense Receipts - Following our recent introduction of the ability to upload PDF receipts to PayHero when adding Expenses, this functionality has now also been added to the Employee Mobile App.
AutoPilot & Timesheet Approvals - For companies using Timesheet Approvals, AutoPilot will now check that all timesheets have been approved before creating the draft pay and send a warning email if not.
Fixes
Saving Employees on Origin - Fixed an issue preventing employees from being saved when exactly 10 employees existed for companies on our Origin plan.
Bank Account Validation - We've updated the tool used for validating New Zealand bank accounts to use a more up-to-date repository, to ensure all valid NZ bank accounts can be entered into PayHero.
Chrome/Edge Timesheets - Fixed a display issue resulting in grey bars appearing in employee timesheets, caused by changes in recent Chrome/Edge updates.
Pay Cycle Admins - Corrected an issue preventing additional Pay Cycle Admins being added to a Pay Cycle which already had other Pay Cycle Admins added.
Logo Sizing - Uploading a particularly large logo to your company settings in PayHero resulted in PDF reports being undownloadable. We've introduced size restrictions and automatic scaling to prevent users running into this issue.
Emergency Contact - Fixed an issue preventing employees updating their Emergency Contact details via the Employee Portal or Employee Mobile App if the contact name was longer than 20 characters.
Changing Plans & Timesheet Approvals - When downgrading to our Origin plan, the Timesheet Approval setting will be automatically turned off, so that users don't need to do so.
Timesheet Approvals & Clock Ins - Fixed an issue preventing Timesheet Approval for employees who were clocked in (patched 17/02/22)
Time Credits - Fixed an issue incorrectly adding time credits to employees (patched 12/01/22, affected users notified)
