On March 1, 2019, IRD made a change that can prevent users who could previously file payroll returns from being able to do payday filing.
Any company starting with payday filing from March 2019 onwards needs to ensure that the myIR login used to authorise IRD access from PayHero has Full Access to Payroll Returns.
If the myIR login used to connect your PayHero account to IRD was not the 'Owner' of the company then the myIR owner will need to do the following:
- Log on to myIR using the owner login.
- Go to Manage My Profile > I want to... > Access Management
- To add a new user, click into Manage additional logons, then click Add New Logon. There's more information on IRD's help page here.
- To update a user's permissions, click into Manage additional logons, then click on the user to review/update their permissions. There's more information on IRD's help page here.
- To allow payroll filing, the user's access settings for 'Payroll' will need to be either Full account access or File.
