What's New
Teams - Teams is a great new addition to PayHero bringing with it a number of improvements and new features, including the ability to:
- Give employees Manager level user access.
- Group your employees into different teams for Xero tracking.
- Restrict employees from recording time against certain types of Work.
- Prevent employees from viewing the Time tab and entering time via the portal or mobile app entirely.

Manager Employees - Employees can now be made a Manager as part of Teams. A Manager user is allowed increased access to the Employee Portal as a Manager as well as the following:
- Login to PayHero Shift.
- Manage the time entries, expense requests and leave requests of their Team's employees through Portal.
- Managers will receive email alerts for leave and expense requests submitted by their Team's employees.
PayHero Shift Access - Logging in to PayHero Shift now requires a Manager user. Learn more here: PayHero Shift Setup.
Annual Leave Payslip Balances - The Current Leave Due annual leave balance of an employee will now be displayed on their payslips, in Weeks and in Days. The Days per Week used in calculating the Days balance will also be shown. All Leave balances can still be viewed through the Employee Portal.
Xero Teams Tracking - Xero Tracking Categories can now be set for each of your teams.
Improvements
Insights CSV. Format - Changes have been made to the CSV. formatting for downloaded Insights Reports. Commas will no longer cause display issues in Excel.
Exclude When Zero - A number of improvements and changes have been made to the Track Balance setting on pay items. Pay Items added to an employee's Default Pay tab (with Track Balance selected) will now automatically stop applying once the balance reaches '0'.
Pay Cycles Names - Pay Cycle names can now be edited and changed.
Reimbursement per Hour Worked - Reimbursement Pay Items can now be set with a rate of 'Per Hour Worked'.
Fixes
Insights AM/PM Time Display - Fixed an issue that caused AM time entries to show as PM and vice versa.
KiwiSaver Contribution Rates - The employer KiwiSaver contribution rate can now be set to 0% for employees under 18.
Safari Compatibility - Time entries viewed in Safari will no longer display as being an hour later. Improvements have also been made around the viewing of Insights Reports.
Internet Explorer, Edge & FireFox Compatibility - The Timesheets page when viewed in any of these browsers will now display as intended.
Mobile App v.0.3.0
Start Clock - Improvements have been made to the Start Clock function for increased reliability.
Entering Notes - The iPhone keyboard will no longer block the notes input box.
UI Improvements - General display updates include showing the current day on the Leave Calendar.
