Pay Cycle Admins - A new user role for restricted administrator access to PayHero. Pay Cycle admins are only able to view/edit employee records and process the payroll for those in their designated pay cycle. This includes restricted access to Time, Leave, Expenses and Insights reporting. Find out more about this feature through our support article: Pay Cycle Admins (coming soon).
Pay Now - Activate Pay Now for an Account to Account POLi payment option for paying staff and the IRD at the same time a pay is sent through PayHero. For details please see our support article: Making Payments with Pay Now.
Admin-only Leave Types - A new 'Hide Leave' option for Leave Types used to prevent the leave option from being displayed on employee platforms. Only PayHero admins will be able to record Leave Requests against these.
Sick Leave Anniversary Date Adjustment - Added Company Setting for adjusting an employee's 'Next Sick Anniversary' automatically to account for any periods of non-continuous employment.
Improvements
BCTI Changes - Formatting improvements made to the Buyer Created Tax Invoices Payslip Type to now include the following:
- Pay period end date displayed as 'Invoice Date'.
- WT Tax Rate % is shown.
- Tax deductions now displayed as 'Withholding Tax'.
- Bank Account Number for payment added
Dashboard Notifications - Notifications on the Dashboard are now able to be cleared. Administrators can remove any messages under the To Do, Upcoming or Notifications sections as required. Initial loading times for large companies when accessing PayHero are improved as a result.
Payslips - Both months are now specified if the pay period date range if it spans multiple months.
Work - Timesheet Pay Items are no longer able to be removed from Work if there are any unpaid time entries outstanding against that same Work option.
Fixes
'Save Changes?' - The Save prompt will no longer display after viewing Manage > Settings when no changes are made.
Copy Previous Week - Pay Items applied as the 'Public Holiday Pay Item' through time recorded over public holidays will no longer be copied into the following week.
Login App - Prevented employee users from being redirected to the administrator PayHero.app login page where they are unable to proceed.
Xero Settings - Archived pay items no longer display under the list of selectable pay items through Manage > Xero.
