What's New
Work Pattern Changes - The employee Work Pattern options have been updated to provide additional flexibility for some employment arrangements. Learn more about the available options and how they impact employee leave entitlements here: Employee Work Pattern
Employees who were on the now defunct 'Hours per Week' option will be set to 'Regular Week' if they had Mon-Fri ticked, or will be set to 'No Regular Week' if not. These approaches will preserve their existing leave functionality, but are worth reviewing for accuracy.
Salaried employees who did not have Mon-Fri ticked are an exception to this, as they require hours for their salary to function correctly - these have been set to the new 'No Regular Days' option, but should be checked for accuracy.
Leave Payslip (Exclude Sick) - A new payslip type has been added for companies who wish to show employee leave balances but exclude sick leave. This can be set using the Payslip Type setting on each employee.
Default Payslip Type - A new field is available in Payroll Settings for setting a default Payslip Type for your company. Once set, this will apply the selected payslip type to each new employee added to PayHero.
Improvements
Alternative Leave in Pays - It's now possible to add Alternative Leave days directly to draft pays, to manually accrue Alternative Leave days for an employee.
Leave in Final Pays - Improved leave handling in final pays, so that employees without a regular work pattern don't require manual intervention from administrators.
Annual Leave Accrual - Improved leave handling for employees who aren't included in the pay period where they cross their anniversary - leave will now become due in their next pay where applicable.
Fixes
Pay Cycle Admins - Corrected an error preventing Pay Cycle Admins from being fully deleted.
Final Pay Leave Taken in Advance - Corrected rounding issues so that Leave Taken in Advance processed in a Final Pay will now correctly reduce employee leave due to 0.
Time Import - Updated the time import to look for matching active employees before checking for Finished employees.
