Improvements
Banking Provider - We're switching our banking to BNZ to allow us to modernise and continue to improve our payment processing services. We'll be simplifying our Subscription Agreement as part of this change (learn more here) which account owners will be prompted to agree to later this month. Otherwise, you don't need to do anything.
Bank Transfers - Companies processing their payroll payments using our Bank Transfer payment method will be presented with our new BNZ bank account for making payments. Make sure you make payment to this new account to ensure timely payment processing. In some cases, employees will now be paid faster via this payment method, based on when the payment clears into our bank account:
- Payments that clear before the pay date will be paid from noon on the pay date (same as current behaviour).
- Payments that clear before 10am on the pay date will be paid to employees from noon.
- Payments that clear between 10am and 7pm on the pay date will be paid to employees from 9pm.
- Payments that clear after 7pm on the pay date will be paid to employees from noon the next day (same as current behaviour).
General Improvements - Some general tweaks and improvements under the hood.
Fixes
Insights Error - Fixed an issue in Insights where attempting to run a report that has incorrect filters could cause loading problems.
Direct Debit Emails - Fixed an issue causing the 'Employee payment initiated' email to be incorrectly issued when refunding payments.
