If you've been Invited to use PayHero, you can log in to view a history of any pays processed in PayHero and download your payslips.

Check out the sections below to learn how to manage your time via PayHero's Employee Portal or Mobile App, or find the answers to commonly asked questions:

PayHero Portal

You can access the portal on a tablet or computer at portal.payhero.co.nz. Learn more about accessing and using the portal here: Employee Portal, or get in touch with your payroll administrator if you have any questions about your access.

The Payslips tab gives you quick and easy access to your pay history, where you can view your most recent pay details, the last 12 months of earnings, and a breakdown of your pay history by pay period.

Most Recent Pay

The most recent pay is shown at the top of the payslips screen, showing an overview of the earnings, deductions, and take home pay. You can click on the pay to view and download your full payslip for the pay.

Last 12 Months

The last 12 months section provides a summary of your last 12 months of work hours and income.

The Earnings is your total gross earnings for the period, and the Averages show your average hours per day, average hourly rate, and average daily rate. These figures are calculated based on the payroll information processed by your employer in each pay for the last 12 months.

The graph below the stats shows the number of hours recorded against different types of work for each month, if you or your employer have been filling out timesheets in PayHero. You can hover your mouse over each month for more detail.

Frequently Asked Questions

The FAQ below helps with some common troubleshooting, or you can reach out to your payroll administrator if you're stuck.

Why have the balances on my payslip changed?

If your company shows leave balances on payslips, you may notice that the balances change when you download a payslip. This is because the balances displayed are as at the time the payslip is downloaded. Check the timestamp at the bottom of the payslip to confirm the point in time that the balances are being displayed for:

If you'd like to check your balances at the time a pay was originally sent, open the original payslip PDF you were sent by email when the pay was first sent, or contact your payroll administrator.

Why are some of my pays missing from the Pay History?

There are three reasons a pay may not appear in the Pay History section of your Payslips tab:

  • The pay may not have been processed by your payroll administrator, or may have been temporarily unprocessed. Check again later.

  • The pay may be more than one year old. PayHero will show the last year of pays by default, but you can click 'View More' at the bottom of the page to find your older pays.

  • The pay may have been processed in a different system. If your employer has changed payroll systems, you'll only see pays which were processed in PayHero.
